To help you smoothly complete registration, download the official App, and arrive at each venue on time, we have specially prepared this guide. Please complete the following three preparation steps before attending.欢迎参加 2026 世界人工智能大会·学术（WAIC-Academic，WAICA）。为帮助您顺利完成注册、下载官方 App 并准时抵达各会场，我们特编写本指南。请在参会前按以下三步完成准备工作。
I. Step One: Registration on the WAICA Official Website一、第一步：WAICA 官网注册
Before attending, please first complete registration and payment on the WAICA official website. The registration entrance is located on the Registration page of the official website.参会前，请先在 WAICA 官方网站完成注册与缴费。注册入口位于官网的 Registration（注册）页面。
1. Open the WAICA official website registration page:1. 打开 WAICA 官方网站注册页面： https://waica2026.worldaic.com.cn/registration/
2. On the Registration page, click the “Online Payment” button to enter the registration and payment platform. For first-time use, please first Create Account: fill in Full Name, Email, Phone (optional), and Password (at least 6 characters), then click “REGISTER”.2.在 Registration 页面点击“Online Payment（在线支付）”按钮，进入注册与缴费平台。首次使用请先创建账户（Create Account）：填写 Full Name（姓名）、Email（邮箱）、Phone（手机号，可选）、Password（密码，至少 6 位），点击“REGISTER（注册）”。
3. After logging in, go to the “Select Pass & Registration” page, choose your pass type according to your identity, and complete the online payment: General Representative ¥4,000, Student ¥2,000, Workshop Pass ¥2,500; you may use a QR code for online payment at checkout.3. 登录后进入“Select Pass & Registration（选择票种）”页面，按身份选择票种并完成在线支付：General Representative（普通代表）¥4,000、Student（学生）¥2,000、Workshop Pass（研讨会通票）¥2,500；结算时可使用二维码在线支付。
4. Once payment is successful, registration is complete. Please remember your account (email) and password, as you will need to log in with the same account when downloading the App later.4. 缴费成功后即完成注册，请牢记账号（邮箱）与密码，后续下载 App 需使用同一账号登录。
II. Step Two: Scan the QR Code to Download and Register the “Hi WAIC” App二、第二步：扫码下载并注册「Hi WAIC」App
Hi WAIC is the sole designated official ticketing platform of WAIC 2026, used for collecting electronic tickets, entry verification, viewing the conference schedule, map navigation, and shuttle information. Please be sure to download and register it.Hi WAIC 是 WAIC 2026 唯一指定官方票务平台，用于领取电子票、入场核验、查看会议日程、地图导览及接驳信息。请务必下载并注册。
5. Use your phone camera or WeChat “Scan” to scan the QR code below to download the Hi WAIC App (available on both iOS and Android).5. 使用手机相机或微信“扫一扫”，扫描下方二维码下载 Hi WAIC App（iOS / Android 均已上架）。
6. Open the App and log in with the same phone number / email account used when registering on the official website.6. 打开 App，使用与官网注册时相同的手机号 / 邮箱账号登录。
7. Complete real-name authentication, and bind or collect your WAICA electronic participation credential / ticket within the App.7. 完成实名认证，在 App 内绑定或领取您的 WAICA 电子参会证 / 门票。
8. It is recommended to enable location and notification permissions in order to receive schedule reminders, venue navigation, and shuttle bus information.8. 建议开启定位与通知权限，以便接收日程提醒、场馆导航与接驳车信息。
III. Step Three: Attendance and Transportation Guide for the 18th–20th三、第三步：18–20 日参会与交通指南

This edition of WAICA will be held from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, July 20, 2026. The conference is distributed across three venues: the Expo Exhibition Hall, the Expo Center, and the Xuhui West Bund International Convention & Exhibition Center. Distance note between venues: The Expo Exhibition Hall and the Expo Center are both located in the Pudong Expo Park and are within walking distance (about 10–15 minutes); the Xuhui West Bund International Convention & Exhibition Center is located on the west bank of the Huangpu River at the Xuhui waterfront, facing the Expo Park across the river, so it is recommended to travel between them by metro or the conference free shuttle bus.场馆间距离提示：世博展览馆与世博中心同处浦东世博园区，步行即可到达（约 10–15 分钟）；徐汇西岸国际会展中心位于黄浦江西岸徐汇滨江，与世博园区隔江相望，建议乘地铁或大会免费接驳车往返。
3.2 Entry and Check-in Procedures During the Conference3.2 大会期间入场及签到流程
Please familiarize yourself with the entry and check-in procedures in advance for quick passage. The overall process is divided into three stages: “Arrival & Pre-check → Identity Verification → Entry”, as shown in the figure below:请提前熟悉入场及签到流程，以便快速通行。整体分为“到达 & 预检 → 身份验证 → 入场通行”三个环节，如下图所示：
- Arrival & Pre-check: Download the Hi WAIC App in advance and open your electronic credential, or show your badge, then arrive at the venue entrance.到达 & 预检：提前下载 Hi WAIC App 并打开电子凭证，或出示胸卡，到达会场入口。

Identity Verification: Verify your identity through facial recognition at the gate system.身份验证：通过闸机系统进行人脸识别验证身份。
- If facial recognition fails (manual verification): Present the ID document used at registration (valid documents such as ID card or passport) for manual verification, and show your electronic credential for on-site activation.人脸识别未通过时（人工核验）：出示注册时所对应的身份证件（身份证、护照等有效证件）进行人工核验，并出示电子凭证现场激活。
- Entry: After passing facial recognition or manual verification, proceed through security check to enter the venue.入场通行：人脸识别或人工核验通过后，经安检即可通行会场。

- Traffic control: On July 17 from 11:00–19:00 (Beijing Time), and daily from 7:00–19:00 (Beijing Time) on July 18–20, motor vehicles are prohibited within the area enclosed by Bocheng Road — Zhoujiadu Road — Guozhan Road — Shiboguan Road (except taxis and permitted vehicles).
