Workshop on Spatial Interaction for Embodied Intelligence具身智能空间交互研讨会

This workshop is part of WAICA 2026 in Shanghai, China. It brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss foundational theories, core technologies, system architectures, and real-world applications, with the goal of advancing technical breakthroughs, promoting ecosystem collaboration, and accelerating real-world deployment in embodied intelligence.本次研讨会是WAICA 2026在上海中国举办的一部分,旨在汇聚研究人员与行业实践者,共同探讨具身智能领域中的基础理论、核心技术、系统架构及真实世界应用,致力于推动技术突破、促进生态协作,并加速具身智能在现实场景中的落地。

WORKSHOP AIMS研讨会目标

  • Foster Interdisciplinary Exchange: To establish an open forum that unites researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities in embodied intelligence.促进交叉交流:搭建开放论坛,汇聚学术界与产业界研究者与实践者,共同探讨具身智能领域的挑战与机遇。
  • Advance Core Technologies: To facilitate deep discussions on foundational theories and key technical directions, including multimodal perception, spatial understanding, and intention understanding.推动核心技术:深入讨论基础理论与关键技术方向,包括多模态感知、空间理解与意图理解等。
  • Bridge Theory and Practice: To explore system architectures and real-world applications, aiming to accelerate the deployment of embodied agents in complex physical environments.连接理论与实践:探讨系统架构与落地应用,加速具身智能体在复杂物理环境中的部署。
  • Promote Ecosystem Collaboration: To drive technical breakthroughs and strengthen cooperation across the ecosystem, pushing the boundaries from task-specific competencies toward general embodied intelligence.促进生态协作:推动技术突破并加强生态合作,从任务专用能力迈向通用具身智能。

CALL FOR PAPERS TOPICS征稿主题

We welcome original contributions on topics including, but not limited to:欢迎原创投稿,主题包括但不限于:

  • Embodied Navigation & Manipulation具身导航与操作
  • Interactive Learning & Transfer交互学习与迁移
  • Human-Space Interaction Design人—空间交互设计

SUBMISSION AND REVIEW投稿与评审

There are two types of submission: extended abstract (2 pages) and technical demos (1 page + video). Methodological novelty and empirical validation are key. As the workshop aims to foster communication and collaboration, accepted abstracts and demos will not be included in conference proceedings. Thus authors are free to submit their submissions elsewhere, or present papers that have already been published.投稿分两类:扩展摘要(2 页)与技术演示(1 页 + 视频)。方法创新与实证验证均为重要考量。本研讨会旨在促进交流与合作,录用摘要与演示不纳入会议论文集;作者可另投其他渠道,或报告已发表论文。

Submissions should be made through the official WAICA submission system. The workshop will use the official conference platform. Submitted papers should be written in either English or Chinese and provided in PDF format.投稿须通过 WAICA 官方投稿系统进行;本研讨会使用大会官方平台。稿件可使用英文或中文撰写,并以 PDF 格式提交。

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least two Program Committee members based on originality, technical quality, relevance to the workshop themes, and clarity of presentation. Final acceptance decisions will be made by the workshop organizers.所有投稿将由至少两名程序委员会委员进行同行评审,依据原创性、技术质量、与研讨会主题的相关性及表述清晰度;最终录用决定由研讨会组织者作出。

WORKSHOP FORMAT研讨会形式

The workshop is planned as a half-day event during the conference period. The programme will include invited talks and contributed oral presentations.研讨会计划在会期以半天形式举办,议程包括邀请报告与录用稿件口头报告。
